This art class is designed to give participants access to different ways of working, moving from a more naturalistic and objective tradition to the more Modern and subjective ways of working found in the twentieth century avant-garde.

Looking closely at various Modern Masters, Jordan will be demonstrating how to work with a variety of exercises based on these painters’ explorations and inventions. The first 4 weeks of this session will be working with the early Cubist inventions of Braque and Picasso. The second 4 weeks will explore the working methods of Soutine.

A Facebook Group page will be provided for posting our work, for supportive community and creative sharing.

All sessions will be recorded and archived and available for viewing.
