Still Life with Dried Flowers in Three States

Acquisition Notes

When I was a younger painter, in my twenties, I loved drawing and painting dried flowers.  I always found them poignant and inevitably graceful.  This last birthday, with nothing special planned, I was in the studio in between projects and noticed a dried bouquet still remaining from a previous fresh flower still life painting I had done some months earlier.  It gently called to me, after all these years.  I reciprocated.

Ideally the gallery space would be large enough to accommodate the entire series. Appropriate spacing is needed to take into creative account the need to form the right size “gap” in between the panels.
