Interior in Black and White (and Yellow)

I am continuously taken by space, by the experience of space — like the encounter with space in a room.  What is this?  I suppose painting the furniture and architecture of the interior is just an excuse really for the exploration and engagement with the space.  Pairing down the palette to black and white (and a bit of Indian yellow) allows me a chance to drop into it more fully, this question, this unknown.  Each canvas is 46×40 inches.
