Interactions of Objects and Space

These works explore the interaction between form and space through mark, color, and viscosity. The questions I am asking as I paint change depending on whether the emphasis is more on space or form or some mix of both. Is the flux that I sense between form and space a close reading of the objective situation that I am perceiving? Is it a subjective experience that I am projecting onto the outer world? On closer inspection, is there an actual demarcation between my apparently subjective experience and the apparently objective situation? These works allow me the opportunity to slip into this zone and move about, marking as I go.

Many of these works were exhibited at Rothschild Fine Art Gallery in Tel Aviv and Prographica/KDR Gallery in Seattle.
