The works in this collection range from engagements with great distances to situations of close-up density and compression of forms, all experienced in open space and direct contact. Vulnerable to changing conditions outdoors creates a kind of urgency that often informs the mark and gesture, as I explore the relationships between form, space, and light. The works were painted in a variety of locations, including the Pacific Northwest, rural New Jersey, County Mayo in Ireland and Jerusalem.
Many of the pieces were exhibited at Rothschild Fine Art Gallery in Tel Aviv.
