PLAYING with OLD MASTERS, Part II, online
Details
This online, 6-week course will explore dimensions of Old Master paintings through EXPERIMENTATION! Each participant will pick an Old Master painting to explore, moving through a charcoal analysis of the compositional structure, and ending up getting crazy, and experimenting with marking, color, and movement. For those that love Old Master traditional painting, but want to make it their own. Or maybe just curious!
Giotto! Piero! Titian! Bellini! Veronese! Velazquez! Rembrandt! Rubens! Caravaggio! Gentileschi!
Each class session will include thorough demonstrations, along with time for participants to share, discuss and get feedback on their own work and progress.
Part II
Week One: Setting it Up and Fooling Around. Full Palette of Colors, oils recommended, canvas size recommended approximately 36 inches on the larger side.

In addition to the demonstrations will be a LIVE ongoing Q&A, allowing for in-depth conversation the nuts and bolts of the exercise, as well as fielding general questions regarding a painting practice.
For all levels. Course limited to 20 participants.

All sessions will be streamed in HIGH DEFINITION, providing greatly increased visual acuity of the painted surface and demonstrations.
