Is there anything in particular to be painting and drawing during this time of COVID-19? Is there anything about our actual situation that is affecting or informing our work? Are there any challenges in particular or questions to be asking that are specific to these times?

What does it mean to be working during this time of uncertainty, anxiety, and constant, moving boundaries? Is there a way to work directly with the sense of fragmentation? Are there aspects to a painting practice that serve us, as individual makers and members of a larger community?

Jordan will be looking at these questions and engaging in hands-on exercises and demonstrations, through drawing and painting, in order to work directly with their implications.
