Class size limited to SIX participants.

There will be a thermometer at the door for everyone to check their temperature upon entering, hand-sanitizer, plenty of hand soap, and mask-wearing. Easels and chairs and folding tables will all be wiped down before and after each class.

This class is designed to give people the fundamental tools and skills to draw and oil paint from life. Working from still life, we will learn how to translate what we see into convincing and successful renditions. We’ll start with basic drawing skills, developing proportion, shading and color. Working step-by-step we’ll develop a thorough understanding of oil paint and how to use it. As our mastery develops, spontaneous play becomes part of our repertoire.

One-on-one attention is given in a supportive and creative atmosphere.
