SUMMARY:ABSTRACTION: LANDSCAPE AS SOURCE - A 3-Day Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Located in the beautiful surroundings of Boulder\, Colorado\, Jordan will be giving a 3-day workshop exploring both plein-air painting and the process of abstraction. During the mornings we will work outdoors in various sites in a traditional a plein-air approach—developing tonal relationships\, and searching for a convincing sense of space\, light and form. In the afternoons we will work indoors\, in Jordan’s studio\, on one canvas for the duration of the three days\, using our morning paintings as source material for an ongoing and improvisational discovery of abstract painting.
