Located in the beautiful surroundings of Boulder, Colorado, Jordan will be giving a 4-day workshop exploring both plein air painting and the process of abstraction. During the mornings we will work outdoors in a traditional plein air approach—developing tonal relationships, searching for a convincing sense of space, light and form. In the afternoons we will work indoors, in Jordan’s studio, on one canvas for the duration of the four days, using our morning paintings as source material for an ongoing and improvisational discovery of abstract painting. Risk and play will be encouraged!

The workshop is limited to seven participants due to studio space limitations.
